Claymobile, our mobile community engagement program, brings a “pop-up” ceramics studio to schools, older adult facilities, community centers, and other social service agencies throughout the Philadelphia region. She organized the first Girl Scout troop on March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, and every year since, we’ve made her vision a reality, helping girls discover their strengths, passions, and talents.

Main Line Health

At the Deaver Health Education Center at Lankenau, thousands of schoolchildren visit every year, gaining an understanding of how the foods they eat have a direct impact on different parts of their bodies and their overall health. Kids visit the nearby Deaver Wellness Farm on the Lankenau campus where thousands of tons of fresh organic produce have nourished hospital patients and local residents alike. Aside from tasting delicious, locally grown produce, the children learn to make the connection between where and how food is grown and how it gets to them.

Mighty Writers

All Mighty Writers programs are designed to teach children to think clearly and write with clarity. Mighty Writers has designed a workshop for our 8th Grade students entitles “ Jumpstart The High School Essay”. They work with each class of 8th graders once a week during the month of October to support the High School Application process.
