Our College & Career Readiness program is built with the idea of the end goal of self-actualization for each student in mind. This starts with informal discussions about careers, college tours, and the high school application process all with the idea of creating a thread that connects students from their current educational status to their career aspiration. The program starts in 5th grade with a college visit, a class meeting, and discussions about their career path. The program culminates in 8th grade with an overnight college trip that exposes 8th graders to college level learning, visiting the high school fair, 1-on-1 discussions about their career goals, a high school meeting with the goal of applying to high schools that directly relate to their goals, and an open invitation to stop by and benefit from our organization as alumni.
